Want to know how to create a highly effective video marketing strategy with the exact workflow and processes?

I will share my exact online video marketing strategy for YouTube and the tools and methods I use to maximise it’s effectiveness and streamline your marketing.

So many people struggle with this and what to do with the online video content they create. 

This is one of the areas that leads to so much confusion. 

I also want to clarify a few points on what I will and won't be covering and how I view the different video marketing buckets.

Let me talk about something that I see a lot of people struggle with, that I hope you can copy and implement for yourself.

I won't be talking about how I generate video content ideas, a lot of that will come from your research and analysis and very much depends on your content and messaging pillars.

I will very quickly show you my content workflow as I use a tool that I find very useful in managing my content creation process.

Before I do that, let me quickly explain a bit more about the video marketing strategies I will dive in to.

I split video marketing in to three broad categories:-

YouTube videos

Social media videos 

Live streaming 

Within each, there are different styles of video and video content. 

And, of course, you have organic and paid strategies. 

So let's take a closer look at my organic YouTube marketing strategy, something that I'm currently doing for my own YouTube channel. 

I have identified specific topics I want to talk about that should help me initially build my channel. 

What I'm really trying to do is get some traction, be reasonably consistent and to start to train the YouTube algorithm about the nature of my content and what my channel is about.

Because YouTube is the second largest search engine and where people go to find specific information - the emphasis is on content that people are searching for. 

So this means that the focus is on keywords and longer keyword phrases, that, based on my research, are important and I have some chance of getting traction on. 

By that, I mean, I may get found in a search query or show up in related or suggested videos.

Because my channel has no authority this does not happen straight away, so some persistence is required. Then, after the initial batch of videos, a little bit of analysis of the results and success is required.

OK, so we're specifically talking about our YouTube videos.

I then just head over to my whiteboard tool called Miro, to show you exactly what I do with my videos and how I streamline my video marketing processes to get the best out of my videos and help drive visitors to my YouTube channel.

After the screensharing piece, I recommend some further steps.

If you want to be a bit more aggressive…

Take images from your videos too, and share those.

But the idea is really to generate early interest in your YouTube video. That first 24-48hrs is important in generating some interest in your new videos.

Then you want to make sure you get additional mileage and benefit from your video content by repurposing and syndicating it out. 

There’s more you can do, like paid advertising on social media but that's another strategy.
